Job summary

BASIS Prescott is seeking an Assistant Teacher to join our bright, passionate teaching team to start ASAP.

The role may teach several courses or substitute for another teacher, helping you learn BASIS Charter School's model and prepare for full-time teaching while contributing to a positive, achievement-focused school culture. You will support student learning, collaborate with colleagues, and assist with events, labs, and assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• Ability to work full time.
• Willingness to take NES Elementary Education Assessment if necessary.
• Willingness to be considered for other campuses.

Responsibilities

• Teach classroom part-time or as a substitute.
• Assist with classroom management.
• Provide student academic support and tutoring.
• Assist with events, labs, and testing; monitor progress.
• Work with Deans and Directors of Student Affairs on behavior and discipline.
• Assist with key programs and school initiatives.
