Candidates for this position must be Highly Qualified through one of the following:

• Have obtained an Associate's degree, or higher from a nationally or regionally accredited institution of higher education, documented through transcripts; OR
• Completed a minimum of 48 college credits from a nationally or regionally accredited institution of higher education, documented through transcripts; OR
• Passed the ParaPro assessment with a minimum score of 455. Documentation of test score must be submitted.

JOB SUMMARY: This temporary position involves paraprofessional work that requires the teacher assistant to assist the classroom teacher in performing a variety of tasks after training, i.e., emergency plans, health-related plans/services, behavioral plans and carrying out instructional procedures.
