OCFS seeks a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support instruction under the supervision of a certified teacher in a New York classroom. You will deliver lesson plans, guide repetitive exercises, and administer tests, reinforcing subject matter as directed.

This position is part of the NY HELPS emergency placement statewide program and requires NYS Teaching Assistant certification or equivalent. Applicants should expect a rapid interview process and must meet the state certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Provide direct instructional services under supervision of a certified teacher.
• Reinforce subject matter with prescribed repetitive exercises.
• Administer, proctor and correct tests.

Responsabilités

• Deliver and follow lesson plans and tests developed by a certified teacher.
• Support classroom learning and reinforce previously taught material.
• Perform standard testing procedures and record results.
• Additional duties may be discussed during interview.
