Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience as a teaching assistant is preferred.
• Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management.
• Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Energetic and positive attitude.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist students individually and in small groups.
• Supervise students in the classroom and elsewhere in the school.
• Enforce classroom rules and procedures.
• Maintain clean classrooms and change diapers if needed and help with pottying.
