Job summary

Penn State University’s Eberly College of Science, Department of Biology, is seeking Teaching Assistants to support biology courses for the 2026–2027 academic year. TAs will help organize coursework, explain concepts to students, and provide office hours or review sessions under faculty supervision.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Eberly College of Science, Department of Biology, is looking to hire Teaching Assistants to provide support to Biology courses overseen by the teaching faculty during the 2026–2027 academic year. This position will be supervised by Grayson Sipe. The Teaching Assistant will help faculty organize coursework, explain biology concepts to students, and hold office hours and/or review sessions. Applications must be submitted electronically with a resume and cover letter. Positions will be given to full-time registered Penn State students. Applications will be received on an ongoing basis and reviewed as the need arises.
