Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preschool CDA or AA in Early Childhood required or willing to obtain.
• Experience as teaching assistant preferred.
• Understanding of child development principles and classroom management.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and adherence to them.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Energetic and positive attitude.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic Teaching Assistant to join our team! As a Teaching Assistant, you will assist the classroom teacher with classroom duties and instruction. Your goal is to create a welcoming learning environment and provide students with the tools they need to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate is compassionate, creative, and has a passion for teaching! The start date for this position will be Friday, August 21, 2026.

Responsibilities:

• Assist students individually and in small groups
• Supervise students in the classroom and elsewhere in the school using active supervision
• Enforce classroom rules and procedures
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records
• Communicate with parents and school personnel as requested by the lead teacher

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Preschool CDA or AA in Early Childhood required or be willing to obtain one of them
• Previous experience as a teaching assistant is preferred
• Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
• Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Energetic and positive attitude
• Ability to pass a background check
