Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies in Minnesota is seeking a Teacher to implement our curriculum and create a safe, nurturing classroom where children can learn and grow. You will build strong connections with families and work closely with center staff to support a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities include delivering the curriculum, engaging parents, supporting enrollment and accreditation efforts, and fostering collaborative relationships with licensing authorities and the community.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively
• Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
• Able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English

Range of pay $16.00 - $16.00 Hourly

In addition to the above pay rate, in the state of Minnesota we currently provide a $3.00 per hour premium on all classroom hours worked which is funded through the Minnesota Great Start Compensation Support Program.
