Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies seeks a dedicated Teacher to support early childhood education in Saint Joseph, MO. You will implement the curriculum, create a safe, engaging setting for kids, and collaborate with families to promote learning and development.

As part of a connected team, you will contribute to enrollment goals, accreditation success, and community engagement while supporting colleagues and leadership in day-to-day classroom operations.

Qualifications

• Must meet state-specific qualifications for the role.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Physically capable of lifting 40 pounds and working indoors or outdoors
• Able to read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents

Required Skills and Experience:

• Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively
• Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
• Able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English
