Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in delivering engaging, lesson plans and classroom instruction
• Support individual and small group learning activities to reinforce academic concepts
• Monitor and supervise students during classroom activities, lunch, and recess
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and positive classroom environment
• Assist with grading, record-keeping, and preparation of classroom materials
• Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents regarding student progress
• Provide one‑on‑one support to students who need additional academic assistance

Requirements

• Negative TB Test
• At least 1 year of experience working with children ages 12 months old through 5 yrs old in a classroom setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic demeanor with a passion for student success
• Ability to align with and support the Love and Logic Philosophy
• Must be able to pass a background check
• CPR/First Aid certification and other licensing mandatory classes within 90 days of hire
