Job summary

Qualifications

• Operate under the direct supervision of the Principal-Special Education.

Job description

Under the direct supervision of the Principal‑Special Education, provides appropriate educational services to students with identified visual impairments and develops and writes individual education programs (IEPs) for the students.

Certification and Education

• Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential authorizing Visual Impairments; or
• California teaching credential with authorization to teach visual handicapped students (EL CLAD)
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
