Job summary

STARBASE STEM Academy in Satellite Beach, FL is seeking educators to join our team. We teach 5th grade students with energy, leadership, and a student-centered approach, guiding them to build, explore, and succeed through hands-on STEM projects.

The role features a Monday–Friday schedule (roughly 8:00 AM–4:00 PM). Instructors collaborate, adapt, and mentor students in a dynamic classroom setting, making a meaningful impact on young learners and their futures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in elementary or STEM education required.
• 1+ years experience in elementary or STEM education preferred.
• Florida or out-of-state teaching license; applicants pursuing certification considered.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on STEM instruction to rotating student groups.
• Promote project-based learning and mentorship to empower students.
• Create an engaging, student-centered classroom environment where all learners participate and grow.

Seeking teachers to join the STARBASE STEM Academy located in Satellite Beach, FL.

STARBASE serves 5th grade students from a wide geographic area, many of whom are just discovering their confidence as learners, problem-solvers, and creators. Our instructors do more than teach, they help students believe in themselves and their ability to build, explore, and succeed.

We are looking for educators who bring energy, leadership, creativity, and a student-centered approach to teaching. Successful instructors are collaborative, adaptable, and committed to creating an engaging classroom environment where every student feels empowered to participate and grow.

Position Highlights:

• Monday-Friday schedule, generally 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
• Hands-on STEM instruction with rotating student groups throughout the year

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 1-3+ years of experience in elementary or STEM education
• Experience or openness to engineering, robotics, mathematics, or related STEM disciplines
• Florida or out of state teaching license (applicants currently pursuing certification will be considered)
• Ability to pass a fingerprint-based national background checks required for youth programs
