Young World Physical Education in Katy, Texas seeks a qualified special education professional to provide instruction and consultation for students with disabilities. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree and a valid Texas certification, with strong communication skills and the ability to work in a community-focused environment.

Pay Grade: I00 (Pay Based on Years of Experience)
Qualifications:
Mission: Provides special education consultation and instruction to meet the need of eligible students with disabilities. Communicate with campus staff, district special education staff, and parents/guardians regarding student needs such as ARD paperwork, IEPs, BIPs, and general progress.
Responsibilities:
Equipment Used: Personal computer, copier, printer, calculator, laminator, fax machine. Familiar with wheelchairs, wheelchair lifts, wheelchair restraints, ramps, locks, radio communication equipment, video‑monitoring equipment, and technology teaching tools (SMART Board).
Potential Leadership Opportunities:
Workplace Operational Environment: Maintain emotional control under stress. Work with frequent interruptions. Frequent standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, pushing, crouching, crawling, reaching, climbing, and pulling. May be required to lift moderate weight (15–44 pounds). Exposure to biological hazards, noise, and microwaves.
