Sherman Indian High School, within the Bureau of Indian Education, seeks a Science Teacher to serve as a classroom instructor on or near the reservation. The position operates under a school year contract with annual renewal and is not eligible for telework or remote work under any circumstances.
Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree or higher and a valid state teaching certification in the appropriate endorsement. Provisional certifications may be accepted under specified conditions.
This position is part of the Sherman Indian High School, Bureau of Indian Education. As a Teacher (Science) you will be responsible for serving as a classroom teacher in a BIE school on or near the Reservation. This position requires SCHOOL YEAR CONTRACT per Public Law 95-561 and will require contract renewal on an annual basis. This position IS NOT suitable for telework or remote consideration under any circumstances.

Applicants with valid State Certification in state other than where the position is located may be considered. If selected, they will be issued a provisional contract to outline the requirement to obtain full State Teacher Certification within two full contract terms.
