Job summary

Delta-T Group Detroit, Inc. seeks Special Education Paraprofessionals to support students in Clinton Township and nearby areas for the 2026/2027 school year. You will assist in general education classrooms, help with note-taking, tests, and materials, and support students in small groups under the teacher’s direction.

Required: High School Diploma/GED and reliable transportation; background checks. Experience with special needs students preferred. Compensation starts at $19+ per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have own transportation.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent required.
• Experience working with Special Needs children highly preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily complete and pass given background checks

Responsibilities

• Assist student in general education classroom with note taking, testing, etc.
• Alerts regular teacher to any problem or special information about the individual student(s)
• Assist with student's participation in small groups of students as directed by the classroom teacher.
• Assist in checking and correction of papers and preparation of materials under the direction of the teacher.
• Assist with audio-visual and computer setups and operation.
• Monitor the instruction activities of the student and assist as appropriate or as directed by the classroom teacher.

Our Client is seeking Special Education Paraprofessionals in the Clinton Township/Mt. Clemons/Chesterfield area for the 2026/2027 School Year. Paraprofessionals support students with developmental disabilities, working closely with support staff and behavioral coaches to provide academic, emotional, and behavioral support and redirection.

Client's Available Hours

• School Hours - Monday to Friday (Schedules vary by level)
• Competitive Compensation starting at $19+ hourly*
