Job summary

Montgomery County Intermediate Unit #23 seeks a Pre-K Counts Teacher to work with children aged 3-5 in the Office of Early Childhood Services. This full-time position offers instruction and support in a warm, inclusive classroom.

Required PA Certification in Early Childhood Education (PK-4) and clearances; experience preferred. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7.5 hours daily, 194 days per year.

Qualifications

• Valid PA Certification in Early Childhood Education (PK-4) required.
• Knowledge of best practices and differentiation.
• Ability to work with and relate to young children and families of diverse backgrounds.
• Experience in an early childhood setting preferred.
• Current police, child abuse and FBI Fingerprint Clearances required.

Bachelor's/Instructional I: $45,449/year

Master's/Instructional II: $48,509/year
