Job summary

Catapult Learning, a division of FullBloom, seeks Math and Reading Intervention Teachers for Hillsborough County, FL. Opportunities span part-time (10–25 hours) and full-time (30–35 hours) with sessions during regular school hours.

Pay is $26 per hour. Positions for the 2026-2027 school year involve multiple schools in the county, with a focus on intervention in K‑12 grades as assigned. Training and ongoing support provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Valid and current FL Teaching Certificate/Statement of Eligibility.
• Experience in classroom, internship, or tutoring.
• Ability to teach Math and Reading/ELA to various grade levels.
• Ability to navigate online platforms for records and communication.
• Belief that all children can learn.
• Passion to help students.

Responsibilities

• Instruct Reading/ELA and Math to small groups across multiple grade levels in a face‑to‑face setting with focus on intervention.
• Deliver instructional models in readiness, reading, math, and writing skills using company materials and strategies.
• Develop and maintain individualized lesson plans using provided curriculum.
• Supervise students at all times and assist with safe transitions between rooms.
• Enter data timely for attendance, testing, progress reports, and communications.
• Schedule and attend parent meetings/conferences.
• Maintain student files as required by regulations.
• Differentiate instruction and use data to meet student needs; foster ownership and critical thinking.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

As an Intervention Teacher with Catapult Learning, you will:

• Instruct Reading/ELA and Math to small groups of students in multiple grade levels in a face-to-face school setting with a focus on intervention.
• Deliver designated instructional models in readiness, reading, mathematics, and writing skills to eligible students through utilization of company-designed materials and educational strategies.
• Utilize company-provided curriculum to develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Ensure supervision of students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from classrooms/learning stations. Climbing stairs and light lifting may be required.
• Perform data entry in a timely fashion to meet deadlines (student attendance, online pre/post testing, progress reports, parent and classroom teacher communication forms, compliance documentation).
• Schedule and attend parent meetings/conferences.
• Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by company, local, state, and federal agencies.
• Maintain consistent communication with company supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents.
• Differentiate instruction: customize and deliver lessons and use data to meet student needs; engage students: foster ownership, critical thinking, and clear routines; grow professionally: embrace training, coaching, and feedback; track progress: maintain accurate student and academic records.
• Other duties as assigned.
