Chicago Collegiate Charter School in Chicago's far South Side is seeking a high‑energy STEM teacher for grades 5–12. You will develop engaging, standards-aligned lessons, differentiate instruction, and build a classroom culture that supports scholar success and college readiness.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, Illinois teaching certification, and urban‑school teaching experience. You will collaborate with families, lead field lessons, and commit to continuous growth

• Developing long‑term, unit, and daily lesson plans, based on the Chicago Collegiate standards, that are exciting, rigorous, and aligned to standards and differentiate instruction based on the diverse and individual needs of all students

• Developing and administering a variety of assessments to measure student growth towards goals and tracking student mastery of content standards and exit requirements

Requirements

• Hold at least a Bachelor's degree and major/minor in a STEM field. (This role will be asked to teach two subjects within the STEM field - e.g. Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Tech, Calculus, Statistics, and Algebra.)
• Demonstrate success in raising the achievement levels of traditionally underserved students, particularly in urban schools.
• Havean unwavering belief that all students can achieve at the highest academic levels, regardless of demographics.
• Operate witha strong work ethic and a passion for being part of a team-oriented, mission -driven school culture.
• Ability to be solutions oriented and approach each day with a sense of possibility.

SALARY & BENEFITS

Salary range for this position is $60,000-$70,000 per year and depends on years of relevant experience, history of achieving measurable results, and other qualifications such as certifications/advanced degrees. The full compensation package includes medical/dental/vision, PTO and vacation time, and other benefits.
