Miramont Behavioral Health in Wisconsin is seeking a dedicated K-12 Special Education teacher to conduct educational assessments and design individualized tutorial plans for adolescents. You will deliver direct instruction in a small-classroom setting, align lessons with state requirements, and collaborate with a treatment team to support education and transition goals.
Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Education eligible for state certification, a teaching license, CPR/de-escalation
Schedule: M-F: 8AM-4:30PM
The Teacher is responsible for conducting an educational assessment and developing and implementing an individualized tutorial plan based on the individuals' learning needs and abilities. Provides direct instruction in the classroom and prepares students to complete their education and transition to public/private school with small classroom size, a supportive environment and a treatment team approach. Ideal candidate will possess a K-12 Special Education Certification and have a passion for working with adolescents struggling with their mental / behavioral health.
This position is onsite and is not a remote position.
This position is an Individual Contributor. This individual will be a part of our multi-disciplinary team that works closely with our adolescent population. We are seeking a passionate and collaborative team player to lead these efforts for education.
