AVANCE San Antonio is seeking a dedicated professional responsible for the academic, social-emotional, and developmental growth of children in their care, primarily toddlers and preschoolers. The ideal candidate must develop partnerships with parents and caregivers, ensuring children's safety and well-being.

Description
This position is responsible for the academic, social-emotional, and developmental growth of all children in their care, which may include children and toddlers through preschool. Develops partnerships with parents, children, and caregivers to engage and encourage participation in the program. He/she is also responsible for assuring compliance with State and local governing entities and works collectively with other staff member of AVANCE.

Maintain emotional control under stress; work with interruptions and deadlines; walking, standing, stooping, bending, pulling, and pushing, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; occasional: lifting/carrying, pulling/pushing 10-30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Occasional exposure to biological hazards (communicable diseases, bacteria, insects, mold, fungi, etc.). Occasional exposure to weather related conditions when working in outside environment/neighborhoods and events.
