Background Screening: All prospective employees must submit to a Level 2 background check pursuant to Florida State Statute 435.04 and be found eligible by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. The background check will include fingerprinting for statewide criminal history checks through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, national checks through the FBI, local checks through local law enforcement agencies, and a search of sexual predator and sexual offender registries of any state in which the prospective employee resided during the immediate preceding 5 years.
