Job summary

FOR EACH 1 REACH 1 MENTORING PROGRAM INC & REACH ACADEMY is seeking an Elementary Teacher to create a safe, engaging learning environment across private school, homeschool co-op, and hybrid programs. You will deliver high-quality instruction while partnering with parents on student development.

You will differentiate instruction for varied backgrounds, implement project-based and student-led learning, and integrate STEM, literacy, math, science, and technology to foster curiosity and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in any subject area is required.
• Florida State Teacher Certification is preferred but not required.
• Experience teaching elementary-age students.
• Pass level 2 background screening.
• Proficient with common office software and classroom technology.

The Elementary Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and academically rigorous learning environment that supports students enrolled in the private school, homeschool co-op, and hybrid education programs. The teacher provides high-quality instruction while partnering with parents to ensure each student's academic, social, emotional, and character development.

This position requires flexibility to teach students with varying educational backgrounds and learning styles while fostering a love of learning through hands-on, project-based, individualized instruction, and student led learning.

Instruction & Curriculum

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the school's curriculum and Florida academic standards.
• Differentiate instructions to meet the diverse needs of the students
• Utilize project-based, experiential, and hands-on learning strategies.
• Integrate STEM, literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, technology, and the arts into instruction.
• Encourage creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving.
• Engage students in student led learning, centers & labs.
• Incorporate educational technology to enhance learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in any subject area. (Required)
• Florida State Teachers Certification. (Desired but not required.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with diverse groups of students, peers, and parents.
