Job summary
Pasco County Schools in Zephyrhills, FL is seeking a Math teacher for Middle School (Grade 6-8) for the 2026-2027 school year. The position is full-time, 196 days, with benefits.
The teacher will develop and deliver an instructional program, plan lessons, and align with district, state, and federal requirements. Starting immediately, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree and Florida certification or be in a state-approved cert pathway; eligibility statements are accepted as needed.

- Valid Florida Educator’s Certificate or District-issued adjunct certification.
- Valid statement of eligibility.
Responsibilities
- Develop, plan, organize, and implement an instructional program for students through curriculum, lesson plans, and educational programs, while ensuring that all procedures are followed to maintain safety and security and to meet federal, state, and local regulations.
- This position may require teaching an additional period beyond the base contract; compensation at the negotiated rate will be added and paid as a supplement in equal payments per the district payroll calendar.
