Job summary

KinderCare is seeking a lead teacher to coach and mentor other teachers in your classroom and deliver KinderCare's curriculum with attention to each child's needs. Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn, and partner with parents to support their child's development.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, organization, and multi-tasking capabilities. Preferred credentials include a CDA, state trainer approval, and a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood

Qualifications

• Active CDA Credential or meet NAECY candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors/outdoors.
• Read, write, understand and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
• Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
• Able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children
