Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Teacher for Hiteon Elementary (Finance) to guide classroom instruction, mentor peers, and implement the company curriculum while ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for children.

You will partner with parents and center staff to achieve enrollment and engagement goals, connecting with families and community partners as part of our mission to support every child's growth.

Qualifications

  • Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational abilities.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
  • Approved state trainer (preferred) or willingness to obtain.
  • 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
  • Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Physically able to lift 40 pounds and engage with children.
  • Read, write, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
  • Implement KinderCare's curriculum consistently with each child's needs.
  • Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
  • Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
  • Support center success; collaborate with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and partners.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively
  • Possess active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
  • Approved state trainer (preferred)
  • 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
  • Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
  • CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
  • Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
  • Able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children
  • Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English
