Job summary

KinderCare is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide classroom staff, implement the center's curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing learning environment for children. You will partner with families to deliver high-quality care and education, while collaborating with leadership to drive center enrollment and accreditation goals.

Qualified candidates typically have CDA candidacy or state qualifications, 2–3 years of ECE experience, CPR/First Aid, and the ability to lift 40 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must hold active CDA credential or be NAeyc candidacy eligible.
• 2–3 years of Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state-specific qualifications for this role or be willing to obtain them.
• Able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.

• Support your center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
• Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively
• Possess active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
• Approved state trainer (preferred)
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
