Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies in Washington state is seeking a Teacher to lead classrooms, deliver our curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing environment for young learners. You will coach staff, engage families, and support center goals around enrollment and accreditation.

The role requires CDA or NAEYC candidacy, 2–3 years ECE experience, and CPR/First Aid readiness, with a minimum 40 lb lifting ability and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills; able to multi-task effectively.
• Possess active CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
• Approved state trainer (preferred)
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
• Meet state specific qualifications or willingness to obtain
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
• Able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English

Required Skills and Experience:

• Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively
• Possess active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
• Approved state trainer (preferred)
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
• Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors

Range of pay $17.15 - $23.20 Hourly
