Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a dedicated Teacher in California to guide and nurture young learners. You will lead and mentor fellow teachers, implement the center’s curriculum with individualized attention, and create a safe, engaging classroom where children grow and explore.

You’ll partner with families and center leadership to support enrollment, accreditation, and community engagement, while upholding high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service, strong organizational skills, and multi-tasking ability.
• Active CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors/outdoors.
• Read/write/speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

Required Skills and Experience:

• Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively
• Possess active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
• Approved state trainer (preferred)
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
• Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
• Able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English

Range of pay $16.90 - $22.85 Hourly
