Position Overview

The Teacher Assistant contributes to the educational experience by supporting certified special education teachers and students in the classroom environment. The Teacher Assistant will help create a structured, nurturing classroom that fosters academic and social growth. ISBE Para-Professional license is required, and previous experience in a school setting is preferred. Successful Teacher Assistants enjoy working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
