Position Type: Full-Time Salary Range: $17.39/hr - $20.47/hr

Description of Position: The special education teacher assistant is an educational professional who assists full-time special education teachers with reinforcing the instruction, assisting with classroom activities and providing clerical assistance. This position will involve extra assistance or supervision of students while the special education teacher is out of the classroom. The special education teacher assistant helps monitor and supervise students to ensure a safe and orderly environment within the classroom.

This position provides an additional $1,000 per year in compensation.
