MAHUBE-OTWA is hiring caring individuals for the Mahnomen Early Head Start as a Teacher Assistant. Your workdays will be filled with education, laughter, art, stories, hugs and more; you will make a difference in the lives of young children in Mahnomen, MN.

Requirements include HS Diploma or GED, CDA preferred, 1–3 years working with low-income families or young children, willingness to attain CDA and CDL; strong knowledge of early childhood development; ability to read and write, basic math,

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED plus Technical/Vocational certificate; CDA and 1–3 years working with low-income families and/or young children preferred.
• Must be willing to attain CDA.
• Must be willing to earn a CDL.
• Knowledge of early childhood development and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to work in a positive and cooperative manner with children, staff and parents.
• Must honor private/confidential information.
• Basic computer skills including working with e-mail, internet, data entry, computer files, databases and/or web-based programs.

Pay: $22.35 – $23.10
Schedule: Non-Exempt, Day Shift, Full Time, Monday – Friday working 40 hrs/week, Seasonal with four one-week layoffs spread over the program year

Requirements
