Responsibilities

• Assists the classroom teacher with instructional activities and helps reinforce material for individual students or small groups.
• Works with individuals or small groups to reinforce material introduced by the teacher.
• Prepares materials for learning and other instructional activities.
• Assists with large group activities and supervises transitions or routines.
• Provides classroom coverage and instructional support for teacher absences.
• Reports student behavior concerns to the teacher and assists with classroom management.
