Ozarks Area Community Action Corporation (OACAC) Head Start in Republic, MO is seeking a motivated Part-time Teacher Assistant to support classroom operations, help create a warm, welcoming learning environment, and partner with families to foster young children’s growth and development. The position runs Monday through Friday, 12:00–5:00, full-year with occasional opportunities to sub additional hours.

Pay ranges from $16.24–$20.24 per hour, plus benefits such as PTO, holidays, and tuition

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six college credit hours or Preschool CDA.
• Experience with preschool children.
• Willingness to obtain Early Childhood Development Specialization Certification (paid by employer).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Position Overview

OACAC Head Start is seeking motivated team members for the position of Teacher Assistant. This role supports classroom operations by helping create a warm, welcoming learning environment that encourages children to reach their highest potential while collaborating with classroom staff and families.

Work Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• 12:00-5:00 (closing with another Teacher)
• Full-year
• Opportunity to sub additional hours

Key Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience working with preschool children

Preferred Qualifications
