Position: Teacher Assistant / 1:1 Aide

Location: Hawthorne/Westchester area

Client's Available Hours

• Monday to Friday, 7 am - 3 pm

Opportunity Description

• Directly responsible for supporting a student
• Assist in implementing daily and weekly programs focused on communication, academic, and social behaviors
• Help the student carry out daily activities as planned
• Assist the student with proper hygiene habits
• Maintain cleanliness and order in program areas

Required Skills & Experience

• High school diploma and a genuine interest in teaching and motivating students
• Sensitivity to students' needs
• Willingness to learn effective training techniques and develop competency in behavior analysis programming
• NY State Teaching Assistant Certification is a plus
