Job summary

Yeshiva Derech Hatorah (YDT) is seeking a part-time Lead Teacher and Aide for the 2025-2026 school year. Average about 12 hours per week in the afternoons, Monday through Thursday. The role offers strong supports, a favorable pay scale, and a wonderful environment.

Responsibilities include safety, policy implementation, lesson plans, classroom management, and parent communication. Ideal candidates will collaborate with staff and participate in committees and professional development.

• Contact parents through use of interim reports, report cards, and/or conferences.
• Refer students suspected of learning or behavioral difficulties to the intervention assistance team.
• Assist in the selection of textbooks, equipment, and other educational materials.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships.
• Participate in committees and co-curricular activities as agreed upon.
• Participate in intervention assistance team meetings.
• Maintain and improve professional competence by attending professional seminars, workshops, etc., to keep current on relevant issues
