Position Summary: The teacher is responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of instructional programs to all assigned, hospitalized children and adolescents. The teacher is directly responsible for regular communication to school personnel and attending physicians regarding assignments, test results, special education needs, and behavioral reports, within the hospital’s educational setting. The teacher is responsible for administering, and reporting approved testing instruments ordered by attending physicians or given by the classroom teacher to affected personnel.

Minimum: Valid teaching license/certificate.
Preferred: Graduate of a four-year accredited institution.1-3 years experience in the behavioral health setting.
