Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university
• At least one year of student teaching or approved internship
• Valid Texas certification with required endorsements for subject/level assigned
• General knowledge of curriculum and instruction

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Develop and implement plans for the curriculum program assigned
• Present subject matter according to guidelines established by Texas Education Agency, board policy, and administrative regulations
• Cooperate with other staff members in planning and implementing instructional goals, objectives, and methods according to district requirements
• Create environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social, and emotional development of students
• Use technologies in the teaching/learning process
• Keep informed of and comply with state, district, and school regulations and policies
• Maintain professional relationship with colleagues, students, parents, and community members

SALARY: Commensurate with experience
