Job summary

LearnWell in Youngstown, OH is seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team on a full-time basis for the school year. This unique role will be in a residential behavioral health facility, providing academic support to adolescent students in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment.

You will plan and deliver daily lesson plans, provide individualized assistance, regularly communicate progress, monitor teaching strategies, and maintain accurate attendance and session

Qualifications

• Active Ohio teaching license required; substitute licenses will not be considered.
• Comfortable working with K-12th grade students.
• Strong organizational skills and reliability.
• Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs.

Job Details: Job Location: Youngstown, OH 44505, Education Level: 4 Year Degree, Salary Range: $25.00 - $27.00 Hourly, At LearnWell, we are committed to changing the lives of the 10 million students in the U.S. who are dealing with behavioral health issues. For more than 26 years, we have provided on-site educational services in hospitals, helping these school-age patients continue their education during treatment and reintegrate successfully into the classroom. With a network of over 200 educators, we strive to make a positive impact for generations to come.

Currently, we are seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team in Youngstown, OH on a full-time basis for the school year. This unique position will involve working in residential behavioral health facility, providing academic support to adolescent school-age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and deliver daily lesson plans, provide individualized assistance to students, and regularly communicate about student progress as needed. Additionally, you will monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success and maintain accurate attendance and session reports. Most of our class sizes range from 8 to 15 school-age patients at any one time.

Position entails a year round, 20-40 hour a week commitment, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-12:00pm or 8:00am-4:30pm.
