Job summary

Permission To Succeed Education Center is seeking an energetic Teacher to lead a K-12 class and implement a comprehensive educational curriculum for a successful school year.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, creative, and committed to fostering a welcoming learning environment. You will plan lessons, assess progress, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure health, safety, and high standards of education across the classroom.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and state teaching certification, preferred.
• Experience teaching at the K-12 level.
• 2+ years in a school classroom in a public, private or charter school, preferred.
• Understanding of child development principles and classroom management best practices.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to adhere to them.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Recent education graduates accepted.

Responsibilities

• Plan a classroom curriculum that meets school standards.
• Encourage the development of students’ critical thinking skills.
• Prepare any necessary learning materials.
• Assign homework, as requested.
• Take attendance.
• Grade assignments and provide feedback.
• Document students’ learning progress.

• Report and document behavioral incidents.
