Job summary

Read Write Learning Center is seeking a dedicated Dyslexia Instructor to empower struggling readers and make a difference in students' lives.

You will provide one-on-one reading intervention using a multi-sensory Orton-Gillingham approach. Training will be provided; prior dyslexia training not required, but teaching experience with children is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong reading, writing and spelling skills.

About the Role

As part of our dynamic team you will provide one-on-one reading intervention, build rapport and strong working relationships with your students, provide tailored support, and foster a nurturing learning environment. We use a multi-sensory Orton-Gillingham approach to teaching to ensure that every student reaches their full potential. Specialized training will be provided for all tutors, no previous training in dyslexia required, but previous teaching experience or experience working with children in a professional setting is highly preferred.

Pay range and compensation package

• Part-time, between 10-20 hours per week.
• After school hours
• Immediate hire.
• Schedule is flexible and can be tailored to your needs.
• Monday-Thursday.
• Pay $25-$30/hour.
