Role Description

This full-time, on-site Teacher role is based at a KinderCare Learning Companies center in Peabody, MA. The Teacher is responsible for creating and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans, facilitating engaging learning experiences, and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment. Daily tasks include observing and documenting children’s progress, communicating regularly with families, and collaborating with center leadership and colleagues to support each child’s educational and social-emotional needs. The role also involves preparing classroom materials, adhering to licensing and safety standards, participating in ongoing training and professional development, and supporting center events and activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Instructional and educational skills, including Teaching, Education, and Training experience appropriate for early childhood settings.
• Curriculum and classroom planning abilities, including Lesson Planning and designing age-appropriate learning activities.
• Strong interpersonal and Communication skills for engaging children, collaborating with colleagues, and building positive relationships with families.
• Relevant coursework or degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (or willingness to pursue required credentials as applicable by state regulations).
• Ability to meet state and local licensing requirements, including background checks and health and safety clearances.
• Demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive teaching in a diverse classroom environment.
• Organizational and classroom management skills, with the ability to multitask and maintain a calm, supportive atmosphere.
