Job summary

Tyson Foods in Amarillo, TX is hiring for a warehouse position focused on order preparation and packaging. You will wrap, label, pack, stack, and load/unload products using a pallet jack or forklift, while maintaining safety in a cold environment.

The role requires at least six months of forklift experience, the ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and comfort with operating computers and order systems. The shift runs 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Six months of forklift experience in the last 12 months.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Able to work in a cold/damp environment (-10 to 34°F).
• Must be able to stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pick-up according to the schedule.

Job Details

Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pick-up according to the schedule. Tasks include wrapping, labeling, packing, stacking, handling boxes as needed, and loading/unloading products using a powered pallet jack and/or forklift. The job is fast-paced, requiring constant standing, walking, or operating powered equipment. Must also be willing to work with computers, including operating systems. Must also be willing to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Must be able to stack between 500 and 1000 units twice a week. Must be willing to work in a cold and damp environment with temperatures ranging from - 10 to 34 degrees. Some lifting will be required with up to a 100 pounds occasional.

The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
