Job summary

Plante Moran’s Tax Operations and Innovation team is building tech-enabled tax processes to automate and streamline operations across industries such as manufacturing, real estate, and wealth management. You will help design, test, deploy, and maintain tools used by engagement teams, partnering with Tax SMEs to identify requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in accounting, tax, accounting information systems, data analytics, or related field.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Working knowledge of Power BI, Power Automate, APIs, and SQL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development and implementation of a tax technology strategy/roadmap to automate, streamline, and standardize the firm’s tax operations.
• Involvement in developing low to no code technology solutions for the tax department.
• Collaborate with Tax Subject Matter Experts to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain tools and templates leveraged by engagement teams.
• Work closely with individuals across the tax department to understand their needs and help develop technology solutions.
• Apply educational background and experience to collaborate with engagement teams on the utilization of technology tools, including internally developed and 3rd party vendor solutions.
