Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Permanent Tax Supervisor/Manager - CPA to lead the tax department, ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and drive strategic tax planning for diverse clients including HNWI, CCORP, SCORP, and partnerships.

With over 5 years in tax leadership, you will oversee planning, returns, audits, and collaboration with other departments; the role offers a strong track to partner and a culture that values growth, teamwork, and impact.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA license is required.
  • Minimum 5 years in a tax supervisor/manager role.
  • Experience preparing returns for HNWI, ccorp, scorp, and partnerships.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing all tax operations including planning, compliance, and audit defense.
  • Developing and implementing tax strategies to minimize the company's tax liabilities and ensuring these strategies comply with the law.
  • Preparing and reviewing tax returns for HNWI, ccorp, scorp, and partnerships.
  • Managing relationships with tax authorities and external auditors.
  • Providing advice on the tax impact of business decisions and potential acquisitions.
  • Keeping abreast of changes in tax law and regulations and ensuring the company is compliant.
  • Managing and mentoring members of the tax team to ensure performance and development.
  • Collaborating with other departments to provide tax advice and to understand the tax impact of their decisions.

We are currently seeking a dynamic, highly-skilled, and experienced Permanent Tax Supervisor/Manager - CPA to join our incredible team. The candidate will be responsible for managing the tax department and ensuring the company is compliant with all local, state, and federal tax regulations. The ideal candidate will be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a proven track record of managing tax operations and providing strategic tax planning. The candidate will have extensive experience working with High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI), C-Corporations (ccorp), S-Corporations (scorp), and Partnerships.

Responsibilities
  1. Overseeing all tax operations including planning, compliance, and audit defense.

  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
