Position Summary

This role is responsible for preparing and reviewing complex individual, corporate and partnership tax returns, providing strategic tax planning, supervising and mentoring staff, and maintaining client relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review complex individual, corporate and partnership tax returns; prepare highly complex returns as needed.
  • Foster and develop meaningful client relationships, addressing tax issues and coordinating related entity filings.
  • Perform detailed reviews and provide feedback to ensure high‑quality work.
  • Review quarterly and annual accounting procedures to support tax preparation.
  • Analyze organizational structures for tax impacts and ensure accurate filings.
  • Prepare estimated tax liabilities and provide strategic tax planning.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor team members, conducting regular performance reviews.
  • Research and document complex tax issues, presenting guidance and solutions.
  • Communicate tax planning solutions with clients and other professionals involved in the client relationship.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members on projects and deadlines.
  • Contribute to team efforts and participate in ongoing professional development; stay updated on tax laws and best practices.
  • Supervise multiple engagements, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Perform other duties and display flexibility to take on a variety of responsibilities assigned by firm leadership.
  • Meet annual billable hour and other targets to fulfill individual performance and overall firm productivity.
Qualifications
