Job summary

Financeroles in the United States seeks a senior tax professional to lead a public accounting tax practice focusing on federal returns for individuals, fiduciaries, and small businesses. You will guide planning and compliance, mentor associates, and ensure accuracy aligned with client goals.

You will partner with wealth advisors to implement strategies and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a primary contact for planning and compliance needs.

Qualifications

• Active CPA or EA license required.
• Master's in taxation or MBA preferred.
• 5–7 years in public accounting with federal tax return focus.
• Management experience in a CPA or tax practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage tax team members with training and collaboration.
• Work with wealth advisors to implement tax strategies.
• Build client relationships with reliable tax advice and planning.
• Review and sign complex tax returns (individual, fiduciary, small business).
• Coordinate tax planning activities including estimates and year-end strategies.
• Drive process improvements and adoption of new tools/workflows.
• Communicate clearly via client emails, memos, and planning docs.
• Foster collaboration between tax and wealth teams.
