Job summary

Amazon's Global Tax team is seeking bar-raising Tax Interns for a 12-week summer internship in Seattle. You will gain hands-on exposure to US federal, cross-border, state and local, and ASC 740 tax practices while delivering a project end-to-end.

Eligible students must graduate 12/2027–06/2028 and be able to relocate to Greater Seattle. The role emphasizes analytics, leadership, communication, and the ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work 40 hours/week during 12-week internship (May–Sept).
• Graduation conferral date between Dec 2027 and Jun 2028 in Accounting (preferably tax track).

Responsibilities

• Support US Federal income tax reporting and compliance, Cross-Border Withholding Tax, State and Local tax reporting, US International Tax reporting, and ASC 740 tax provision work.
• Gain hands-on tax experience and own an end-to-end project delivery.
• Collaborate with tax professionals to deliver impactful business results.
