Testing Site - JPMC is seeking a Tax Associate to join our Corporate Tax team in Columbus, OH. You will gain exposure to US federal, state, and local tax filings along with ASC 740 accounting topics.

You will prepare current and deferred tax provisions, analyze transactions for book-tax differences, and support tax footnotes and return work. Strong communication and meticulous attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in tax accounting and compliance.
• Strong communication, organization, and detail orientation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Access.
• Familiar with corporate tax filings.

Responsibilities

• Compute current and deferred tax provisions and liabilities.
• Analyze new transactions for book-tax differences.
• Monitor new accounting policies for proper tax treatment.
• Assist in preparing annual tax footnotes.
• Prepare federal, state and local corporate income tax returns.
• Document tax return support in workflow database.
• Ad hoc tax research as needed.
