Adams Brown, LLC is seeking a Staff Tax Accountant to prepare tax returns, basic accounting work papers and financial reports within the Closely Held Business team. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent and up to 3 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or similar field (0–3 years in relevant position)
• Ability to prepare tax returns and basic accounting work papers
• Familiar with tax concepts, practices, and procedures

Responsibilities

• Prepares tax returns and conducts tax research
• Compiles, prepares, and maintains financial data and records
• Prepares detailed accounting and statistical functions relating to tax preparation
• Maintains time and expense records for client billing
• Ensures compliance with continuing professional education requirements
• Demonstrates executive presence in interactions with clients and colleagues
