Position Overview

This role can be located anywhere in the US, primarily in NY. EY's Financial Services Organization (FSO) specializes in serving the financial industry, including banking, capital markets, wealth and asset management, insurance, and real estate.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax compliance and advisory services for clients in the asset management industry, including hedge funds, mutual funds, and private equity funds.
• Work with managers through partners on federal, international, and state/local tax issues, focusing on tax strategies aligned with client business objectives.
• Manage tax compliance accounts, ensure accuracy, and advise on tax minimization strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of related experience, or an advanced degree with 2 years of experience.
• CPA license or licensed attorney, or the ability to obtain one.
• Experience in tax related to the financial services industry, especially managed investment vehicles.
• Knowledge of federal and state/local income tax laws.

Benefits and Compensation

Salary ranges from $90,200 to $148,700 nationally, with higher ranges in NY, WA, and CA. Our benefits include health coverage, 401(k), paid time off, flexible work arrangements, and continuous learning opportunities.
