White Tiger Connections, a boutique public accounting firm in Buffalo Grove, seeks an experienced Tax Senior to strengthen client service and teamwork.

Prepare and review complex federal and state returns (1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065), support tax engagements from planning through delivery, and begin managing client relationships. CPA or EA licensure preferred; independence and strong communication are essential in a high‑touch environment using CCH Axcess, CCH Engagement, and Lacerte.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of dedicated tax experience in public accounting.
• Hands-on with 1040, 1120, 1120S, and 1065 work in boutique or SMB firms.
• Currently preparing complex returns and beginning to take on review responsibilities.
• Starting to manage client accounts and relationships directly.
• CPA or EA licensure preferred.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently and take ownership.
• Strong communication skills and client-facing confidence.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and begin reviewing complex federal and state returns for individuals and closely held businesses (1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065).
• Support engagements from planning through completion with accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist with proactive tax planning and advisory services including projections.
• Own client relationships as direct contact under manager oversight.
• Contribute to quality control by reviewing staff work.
• Work in CCH Axcess, CCH Engagement; familiarity with Drake is a plus.
